Do you remember the kids Saturday morning show Swap Shop on English TV back in the 1970's?
Well, if you're a Brit you probably do, if not you probably think I'm talking nonsense. I always talk nonsense!
The concept was you'd phone in with your swap & ask for something specific in exchange for what you had. Your train set for an Action man or a Barbie for a Cindy, so on.
What a great concept for corkscrew collectors - A corkscrew Swap Shop.
Trading is already pretty common within corkscrew collecting circles. Most of us when out & about hunting will pick up some doubles if they are cheap enough. It would be silly to not to. On occasion you might want one particular corkscrew within a job lot of a dozen or more. All these extras add up to some good trade bait to negotiate with fellow collectors.
If you have any good doubles & would like to advertise them for free on Corkscrew Collecting Swap Shop that would be great!
Send in pictures of the corkscrews that you would like to swap, together with what you would like tom swap them for. Add your name & email address & your details will be added to the Swap Shop board.
